Volkl Revolt 101 2027 Skis

$1,299.99 AUD

The Volkl Revolt 101 2027 is one of the most exciting additions to Volkl’s lineup in years.

Built as a freeride-focused directional twin, it blends the power and edge hold Volkl is known for with a much more playful, surfy, and accessible feel than the Mantra series. It charges hard when you put it on edge, but still feels loose enough to slash, pop off side hits, ski switch, and move through technical terrain without demanding constant aggression.

Think of it as a playful charger that bridges the gap between freestyle-inspired freeride skiing and serious all-mountain performance.

What Makes This Ski Tick?

  • Waist Width: 101mm underfoot delivering a versatile balance of groomer performance, soft snow float, and freeride versatility across mixed conditions
  • Shape: Directional twin-tip design combining freeride stability with enough tail rise for switch skiing and freestyle-inspired riding
  • Dimensions: 133-101-115mm profile providing strong edge engagement, flotation, and stability across varied terrain
  • 3D Radius Sidecut: Multi-radius sidecut allowing smooth transitions between shorter turns, powerful carves, and longer high-speed arcs depending on skier input
  • Turn Radius: 24.6m / 19m / 22.4m radius profile in the 182cm length balancing stability with versatility across different turn shapes
  • Core Construction: Poplar and beech Multilayer Woodcore delivering strong power transfer, stability, and energetic rebound without excessive weight
  • Rocker Profile: Rocker/Camber/Rocker construction improving float, manoeuvrability, and turn release while maintaining strong edge grip underfoot
  • Tail Shape: Pinned partial twin tail creating a unique mix of directional confidence and freestyle versatility
  • Flex Feel: Medium-stiff flex providing impressive stability at speed while remaining more forgiving and playful than traditional metal-laminate chargers
  • Construction Feel: Fibreglass laminate construction delivering strong edge hold and energy without the demanding feel of Titanal-heavy skis
  • Base: Sintered P-Tex 2100 base providing durability and strong glide performance in varying snow conditions
  • Weight: Approx. 2000–2150g per ski depending on length, creating a damp and stable ride while maintaining relatively low swing weight for its category
  • Terrain Performance: Excels on groomers, chalk, chopped snow, sidecountry terrain, soft bumps, and mixed freeride conditions while still feeling comfortable in the park
  • Performance Level: Best suited to intermediate through expert skiers wanting a powerful freeride ski that remains playful and approachable
  • Ride Feel: Stable, surfy, energetic, and surprisingly easy to ski hard without the demanding feel of more traditional Volkl chargers
